Even though only Seniors 50+ are eligible to vote at general meetings, younger adults, who are interested in an activity, are welcome to become members.
All-activity memberships are available now for 2026 for $20 annually and we take new memberships throughout the year.A three-visit trial period is available to try out some activities before becoming a new member. Most of our activities are drop in and cost $1 or $2 per time. Visit when you can.
Please send an email to nelsonseniorscentre@gmail.com with your activity/activities selected in which you are interested or have questions, so we can forward this to the Leader of the specific activity before you arrive. Alternatively, you can arrive 15 minutes early for a drop-in activity and a member will help you join in. Bridge, Glacier Harmonies and Private Events have different requirements (See the Activity Summary Below).
Some activities are designated “private” on the calendar such as Duplicate Bridge Wednesdays 6:30; Ukuladies and Friends Thursdays 5:15; CFUW – University Women Saturday 1:15; Unitarian Church Sundays 9:30; and Kootenay Poetry Sunday 5:30, but we can send an email to them if you are interested in learning more.
